At its October 13, 2026 notice, Viborg-Hurley School District said July 2 water testing found lead in a small number of fixtures in the Viborg building. The district said the kitchen faucet and mechanical room sink were scheduled for replacement, and additional fixtures in the Administration Office, Kindergarten Room, FACs room, and Teachers' Workroom were to be replaced within two weeks. Follow-up water testing will follow the replacements.
