From the meeting

At its October 12, 2026 meeting the annual inspection report said the Phase 3 extension of the 54-inch raw water main was partially funded with NC General Assembly infrastructure grant funds and that an interlocal agreement had been executed to fund the remainder. The project will extend from the Pender County meter vault to the CFPUA meter vault and finish the last remaining section of parallel pipeline for the Kings Bluff system. Design was underway and easements along US 421 were being negotiated, with construction expected after Phase 2.

Decision state: ongoing planning and funding.
