From the meeting
At its October 1, 2026 meeting, the Pasadena Rental Housing Board heard that the Public Health Department is partnering with Pasadena Water & Power, Rent Stabilization, and Transportation to apply the Promotores model and Community Engagement Guide to department engagement needs. PPHD will provide a community engagement action plan, a menu of engagement options, and performance tracking and summary reports. Rent Stabilization had completed project scoping on August 14 and drafted an engagement action plan and options on September 22, with engagement activities set to begin by the end of October.
The work is underway and the next step is execution of the engagement plan.
