From the meeting
At its November 4, 2026 meeting, the City Council was asked to adopt a resolution correcting the scope of work for California Highway Patrol Cannabis Tax Fund Grant Program (CTFGP) Award #30794. The $245,935 grant remained unchanged, but the city had to align the authorized uses with CHP's approved budget and Schedule B. The corrected scope covered DUI Saturation Patrol materials and supplies, backfill, Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) training, travel for DRE training, a SoToxa Drug Analyzer, and a DUI Patrol Vehicle.
The resolution also authorized the City Manager to submit the corrected resolution and related documents to CHP.
