From the meeting
At its July 23, 2026 meeting the board denied a customer appeal and directed staff to proceed with Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI) meter installation. The district said about 1,200 meters were installed and roughly 20 remained at that time, and the September report said the final meter was changed out on August 20. The AMI project was also closing out with final invoicing and grant documentation.
This matters because the implementation is near complete and may still create follow-on meter, communications, or support work.
