From the meeting
At its July 20, 2026 meeting the district reported it is still waiting for Rural Development permission to either stockpile materials or go to bid for the Community Project Funding 2024 effort. Directors also met with Senator Hickenlooper on July 10 about potential federal funding for water infrastructure. The funding path is still open, but the project is clearly tied to future grant or intergovernmental support.
