From the meeting
At its August 5, 2026 meeting, the board adopted a resolution authorizing submission of the Community Traffic Safety Grant. Commissioner Thom Welby noted the Traffic Safety Group also planned a bicycle safety event at Nay Aug Park later in the month. The item is a grant application, so the relevant sales signal is funding pursuit rather than a contract award.
