From the meeting
At its August 31, 2026 meeting the board voted to discontinue the township's basketball and baseball/softball recreation sports programs. Director Megan Weaver said committee turnover and declining registrations made the programs hard to sustain, and Simone Hardy had been carrying the workload. This is not a procurement, but it is a service change that could lead to future outsourcing, sponsorships, or a redesigned recreation model.
