From the meeting
At its August 26, 2026 special meeting, the council discussed the sidewalk project with Inline Construction and confirmed the north side of Fifth and Highland on the west side was included in the bid. The council and city attorney also discussed drainage easements west of Fourth and Highland on the north side of Fourth Street. Attorney Tom Barnes and council member Debbie Dreasher were to meet with the homeowners to discuss the easements.
The project was already underway, and the remaining issue was easement clearance and timeline.
