From the meeting
At its August 25, 2026 meeting, the board received a 2-year AI review showing staff used artificial intelligence (AI) to solve operational, systemic, and administrative problems. 15 million vendor error, flagged duplicate profiles, built dashboards, and drafted a $325,000 USDA grant application framework. This is not a procurement award, but it signals an active internal automation and data-governance agenda with future grant and system-work follow-on.
