From the meeting
At its August 19, 2026 meeting the Board reviewed and approved the Concussion Oversight Team for the 2026-27 school year. Mr. Berman said the Illinois Youth Sports Concussion Safety Act requires a team and return-to-play and return-to-learn protocols.
This is a compliance item, but it signals ongoing needs around student-athlete safety procedures, staff coordination, and related documentation.
