From the meeting
At its August 19, 2026 meeting the board approved the Seismic Rehabilitation Grant Contract after Chief Mick Sneddon reviewed the grant agreement for engineering and grant funding. The grant is through the Oregon Business Development Department. The district also approved sending the funds to its Local Government Investment Pool (LGIP) account and authorized signatures to request the transfer.
This is a grant-funded seismic upgrade effort with implementation still to come.
