From the meeting
At its August 18, 2026 meeting, the council supported a joint Transportation and Growth Management (TGM) grant application with Echo to update the Stanfield Interchange Access Management Plan. The 2005 plan is considered outdated because of growth, freight, and development changes around I-84 and US Highway 395. The work will refresh traffic forecasts, planning-level design concepts, and access management standards.
The city said it will provide staff support and in-kind resources and consider adopting the finished plan.

Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
