From the meeting
At its August 11, 2026 meeting the Town told the Village it wants an independent dissolution and consolidation feasibility study. The Town said it is not proposing dissolution, but wants professional help to examine costs for employees, highway, police, courts, code enforcement, buildings, debt, assets, and fund balances. This is a clear consulting opportunity if the Village agrees to participate and funding can be identified.
