From the meeting
At its August 10, 2026 meeting, SSRECC reported that MA State 911 did not approve the architecture and engineering grant for the old Hingham Police Department space in Hingham Town Hall. T/M Mayo said the group would continue working on the idea, but the longer it takes the less chance there is to get the space because of town space needs. The board also said the grant-funded portables request was denied, while updated firewall and some fiber replacement were funded.
The portables will most likely come from capital funding.
