From the meeting
Airport Director Marty Lenss reported that recruitment for the Chief Operating Officer (COO) position was progressing well. The airport bypassed a traditional headhunter and posted the role directly through the American Association of Airport Executives (AAAE) and Airports Council International (ACI), with 7 to 8 highly qualified candidates under consideration. This is a leadership buying trigger because the new COO will influence airport operations and future project execution.
