THE 30-SECOND BRIEF
A DOT Contract – Winter Salt is listed, indicating the town is arranging its winter road salt supply through a state contract mechanism. The agenda suggests this contract is in place or being confirmed for the upcoming season. While the primary decision is likely set through DOT, salt and de-icing suppliers can use this as intelligence on the town’s sourcing approach and look for related services like storage, brine systems, or spreader calibration.
Procurement likely follows state DOT’s bulk salt contracts rather than a standalone town bid.
