MOU Funds 2026 Marine Vessel Speed Reduction Program

The Ventura County Air Pollution Control Board will consider authorizing the APCO to sign a Memorandum of Understanding with the California Marine Sanctuary Foundation for $973,863 in FY 2026-2027 to fund the 2026 Marine Vessel Speed Reduction Incentive Program, also known as Protecting Blue Whales and Blue Skies. The APCO would also be authorized to execute related agreements and minor amendments consistent with the program’s purpose.
