The City of San Antonio will apply for and accept up to $1.43 million from the Motor Vehicle Crime Prevention Authority to support the Regional Auto Crimes Task Force for the 2026–2027 grant year. The $5.71 million project budget will fund 13 positions and multi-agency efforts to reduce vehicle theft and related crimes.
