The City of St. Catharines is considering supporting Sport Niagara’s multi‑year bid with Football Ontario by waiving up to $55,000 in municipal facility rental fees for national football championships from 2027 to 2029. The in‑kind contribution would be funded through the Municipal Accommodation Tax Reserve Fund and applied to use of Kiwanis Field and related facilities.
