Manufacturer Agrees to Replace Failed WWTP Screw Pump

The screw pump manufacturer for Troy’s Wastewater Treatment Plant has agreed under warranty to replace a failed unit and inspect three additional pumps after investigations showed weld failures were due to the manufacturing process. The City is working with the contractor and manufacturer to complete this corrective work.
