Belton ISD approved an agreement with YMCA of Central Texas to operate after school and summer camp childcare programs at district elementary campuses from August 2026 through summer 2029. Under the contract, YMCA will bear operating costs, maintain required licensing and insurance, and pay BISD 10% of total participant fees for use of facilities.

Renewal Info

Initial three-year term beginning August 8, 2026 and ending on the Last Day of Summer Day Camp for school year 2028-2029. Commencing March 1, 2027, BISD may terminate with notice effective on the Last Day of Summer Day Camp 12 months after notice. If BISD does not give notice before the First Day of School for a given year, the agreement automatically extends one additional year, ending the day prior to the First Day of School at the end of the extension year.
