Town of Glenville approves upgrades to the water treatment plant filtration capabilities to treat and remove carcinogenic bioaccumulating chemicals, known as PFAS, from the public water system. The project will add a Granular Activated Carbon filtration system.

Pigliavento Associates, LLC has provided to the Town an Indemnity Agreement signed on April 28, 2025, which requires the Town's signature; in order to further assure that the sanitary sewer system is completed and that the Town has no obligation to fund the cost of completion, the Town required the developer to indemnify, defend and hold the Town harmless.
