D.R. Horton TIF proposal for water infrastructure approved

Proposed residential Tax Increment Financing (TIF) agreement with D.R. Horton to share the cost of constructing water and sanitary sewer lines within the constraints of the development that would be owned by the City. The city would reimburse D.R. Horton over a period of time as the development actually occurs and payments in lieu of taxes are generated for water and sanitary sewer lines up to $350,000 from pilots as the housing is built, sold and added to the tax duplicate.
