This document contains the Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the Christiansburg Rescue Renovations project. Sealed bids are requested for the construction of the Falling Branch Intersection Improvements, which includes constructing a signalized intersection with a commercial entrance and utility relocation. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a lump sum and unit price basis.

Invitation for Bids for the construction of approximately 2,800 linear feet of curb & gutter, 1,775 linear feet of 5 foot wide concrete sidewalk, pavement milling and overlay, at grade pedestrian rail crossing, grading, drainage improvements, and associated appurtenances. A mandatory pre-bid conference was held on June 21, 2016. Bids are to be submitted by August 5, 2016.

The Town of Christiansburg is seeking quotes for the installation of approximately 2,500 feet of fiber optical cable through conduit, including termination and testing, at Christiansburg Signature Park. The conduit will be provided by Faulkner Construction.

This IFB was originally for the purchase of a new 2021 or 2022 Ford F-550 XL 4x4 Super Cab chassis with a Knapheide crane service body or equivalent. However, the IFB has been cancelled due to budgetary constraints. A replacement IFB is expected to be issued at a later date.

The Town of Christiansburg is soliciting proposals for preliminary engineering services for the Waterwater Treatment Facility (WWTF). This includes creating a Project Overview Technical Memorandum and a Preliminary Engineering Report to identify improvements and modifications for the next 0-20 years.

The Town of Christiansburg is seeking bids for a Naming, Advertising, and Sponsorship Agreement for the Christiansburg Huckleberry Park Facility. The agreement will grant the successful bidder exclusive naming rights for a period of ten years.

Seeks bids for asphalt concrete paving and milling services for the Town of Christiansburg for Fiscal Year 11-12. The scope includes approximately 5,463 tons of SM-9.5AL asphalt concrete and approximately 709 SY-IN of milling.
