SUMMARY
The Town of Davie is seeking a 1-year contract with two 1-year renewal options for on-call biohazardous and hazardous materials (hazmat) cleanup, decontamination, remediation, and disinfection services. The selected contractor will be responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, deodorizing, sanitizing, and disposing of biohazardous waste, bloodborne pathogens, bodily fluids, infectious materials, and chemical/hazmat spills such as oil and gasoline. Services cover Town facilities, police vehicles, interview rooms, holding cells, gyms, and crime or trauma scenes on Town property. Estimated total bid amount is not to exceed F.S. § 287.017(2), currently $35,000. Submission deadline is July 1, 2025 at 2:00 pm, with questions due by June 25, 2025. Requirements include OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens standard compliance, EPA and DOT regulations, proper waste packaging, background checks, and proof of commercial general liability and worker's compensation insurance.
