SUMMARY
Space Florida (SF) is soliciting bids under RFB 01-0-2026 for the demolition of the existing Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGE) shelter and the construction of a new hurricane-rated, open-wall Ground Support Equipment (GSE) carport at the Shuttle Landing Facility (SLF), also known as the Launch & Landing Facility (LLF) at Kennedy Space Center. The new structure will be approximately 12 ft (W) x 40 ft (D) x 10 ft (H) and include overhead LED lighting and 120-volt receptacles. A mandatory pre-bid site visit is scheduled for April 29, 2026, at 10:00 AM, with badge requests due by April 22, 2026. Bids must be submitted as an Adobe PDF via email no later than May 29, 2026, at 12:00 PM. The contract will be awarded to the lowest-priced responsive and responsible bidder.
