Summary
The proposed project will provide additional operational storage and emergency storage at the Freegard Lift Station site.
The existing wet well structure will be replaced with a 12-inch diameter precast polymer concrete wet well and a 36-inch PVC sewer pipe will be constructed to connect the wet well to a new 12-inch diameter precast polymer concrete emergency storage wet well structure to the North. This project also includes the installation of an emergency backup Godwin 180M Diesel Pump with a suction line routed to the wet well expansion and the discharge piping connecting to an existing tee just south of the existing lift station building. A 12-inch sewer line will also be constructed from a new 48-inch polymer concrete manhole into the new emergency storage wet well structure so that the station can remain in operation while the existing wet well is being replaced. Engineering estimate is approximately $1.5M not including tax.
