SUMMARY
The Onslow Water and Sewer Authority (ONWASA) is requesting proposals for the rehabilitation of one steel tank softener vessel at the Dixon Water Treatment Plant located in Holly Ridge, NC. The scope of work includes furnishing all permits, materials, and labor to remove and dispose of existing media, perform visual inspections and repairs (including spot and patch welding), prepare and paint interior and exterior surfaces, conduct pressure testing, replace the brine inlet valve and electronic actuator, and install new gravel and media. Work must begin within 7 days of a Notice to Proceed and be completed within 30 calendar days. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for November 25, 2025, at 2:00 PM. Performance and payment bonds are required, and NC Certified HUB Contractors are encouraged to participate. Proposals are due by January 5, 2026.
