From the meeting
Tierra del Sol Elementary requested board approval to accept three APS Supply My Class awards totaling $1,500 for classroom supplies and instructional resources. The awards were tied to Ms. Melissa Lopez, Mrs.
Ana Alvarez, and Miss Sasha Tumbaga, and the district said the funds would support student learning at the school. This is grant funding already awarded, not a procurement, but it confirms a small pool of discretionary classroom spending backed by Arizona Public Service. The board action was an acceptance step on September 8, 2026.
