From the meeting
The township scheduled a ratification of its bulk rock salt purchase through the Somerset County Cooperative from Atlantic Salt. The item states the purchase was in an amount not to exceed $50,000 and is tied to winter operations. This is a decided buy with incumbent-intelligence value for salt supply and cooperative pricing, though the agenda does not show a new solicitation.
