From the meeting
61-acre subdivision with one access road, a mini-roundabout concept, stormwater obligations, floodplain review, wetlands, stream buffers, and a mid-street median turnaround. Staff said the stormwater engineer must meet the town's stormwater requirements and the Rowan County Floodplain Administrator will likely comment. The project still needed civil review and final filings before the rezoning and preliminary plat became effective.
That makes this a useful early signal for engineering, stormwater, and land development support.
