From the meeting
The Sept. 18, 2026 package approved the Shuffield Building Renovation for Labor Delivery and Recovery project at UAMS. The committee interviewed architects and the capital form calls for a $25,000,000 renovation plus $4,000,000 in furnishings and equipment.
It is also tied to training for the new midwifery program, so this is a strong lead for clinical construction and medical equipment follow-on work.
