From the meeting
The FY2027 capital improvement program funded $160,000 for Network Infrastructure Upgrades. The project includes network switch support and updates, a Verizon VPN router, and a fiber connection to new Fire Station 22. The document notes that major switching infrastructure was installed in 2023-2024, so the current work is the next stage of support and expansion.
This creates an immediate network infrastructure opportunity tied to a new fire facility.
