From the meeting
The Early Learning Services Department presented its 2026-27 program design for Head Start, Early Head Start, and Early Head Start Child Care Partnership grants. The programs are federally funded to serve 1,207 children ages 0-5 in Santa Clara and San Benito Counties. This is a grant-driven operating plan, not a procurement, but it defines staffing and service needs for the coming school year.
The relevant timeline is the 2026-27 school year.
