From the meeting
The district set requirements for respiratory protection training covering self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), supplied-air respirators, and other respirators used by members. Training must be provided before use and retraining is annual or triggered by workplace changes or skill gaps. The Training Officer keeps the records, and the policy ties the work to Cal/OSHA compliance.
This is an existing training program, but it shows recurring demand for training delivery, fit testing support, and documentation services.
