From the meeting
The district reported an annual pre-employment career training contract with the Division of Rehabilitation Services (DRS). The contract supports students with Individual Education Plans in obtaining and maintaining community employment, and the district said it exceeded the most recent outcome goal by helping 36 students meet criteria against a contract target of 30. This is already in place, but it creates follow-on demand for training coordination, case support, and outcome tracking.
DRS and the special education department are the key buyers to watch.
