From the meeting
The district adopted rules for a transition to kindergarten program for eligible 4-year-olds who need extra preparation before kindergarten. The policy says the district may implement and administer the program, including site readiness, developmentally appropriate curricula, and professional development. It also allows blending or co-locating with other early learning programs.
This signals future needs around curriculum, staff training, screening tools, and facility readiness.
