From the meeting
The county said the district now appears eligible to apply for Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding this year after meeting the income survey response requirement. The online application portal was expected to be released soon, and staff asked the board to consider a project to include in the application. Suggested uses were an emergency generator for the West Water Storage Tank Site, an emergency generator for the Well 7 Site, or valve and fire hydrant replacements.
This is an open grant-funded planning decision with multiple possible project scopes.
