From the meeting
The commission reviewed ideas for its 2026-2027 work plan, including senior dance, middle school outreach, holiday celebrations, a health fair, movie nights, a Flying Doctors event, field day, a food drive workshop, and a Halloween event. The report was for discussion and file-only action, so no event contract or vendor was selected. The next useful conversation is with staff about what programs will need outside support, promotion, or event services when the work plan is finalized.
