THE 30-SECOND BRIEF
The college launched the Connected Seniors program in Curry County with Beacon Broadband and Coos‑Curry Electric, offering seniors computer training and laptop access for telehealth and Medicare resources. A related grant funds additional laptops for checkout at the Brookings campus. This ongoing initiative will require devices, connectivity solutions, training content, and potentially support services.
Aging and telehealth focus may align with federal or state broadband and digital equity funding streams.
