From the meeting

The Building & Grounds Committee and Finance Committee discussed Waterloo Junior High School facility planning and a referendum at their October 15, 2026 meeting. They discussed ballot timing for April 2027 and March 2028 and agreed March 2028 was preferable to allow time to work out details, including utilities and traffic information, and to get information out to the community. Stifel, Nicolaus & Company provided information from Discovery Works Collaborative for public education, and samples from Pontiac William Holliday School District were provided.

The ballot language for an April 2027 vote would be due by January 19, 2027; the discussion remained open.
