From the meeting
The board's 2027 meeting plan includes reviews of Gov. Ferguson's operating budget proposals, 2027-29 biennial funding, and current appropriations from WEIA and higher education funding. It also plans to review new research and reports on higher education and workforce development.
This is a planning signal around future funding priorities, not a procurement award. Sellers tied to higher education or workforce programs should track the 2027 legislative and appropriations cycle.
