From the meeting
The board scheduled Resolution 2605 to declare an emergency after substantial damage to district property from the Old Trails Wildfire. The declaration would waive competitive bidding for necessary emergency remediation and repair work and ratify prior actions. It also would allow the district to apply for an emergency grant from the OSPI Emergency Repair Pool Fund.
This is an open emergency recovery project with near-term repair, remediation, and grant-funded follow-on work.
