THE 30-SECOND BRIEF
The board scheduled a visit from TRORC to discuss MERP updates and contracts. MERP is typically an energy-related grant program, suggesting the town may execute contracts for energy efficiency or municipal facility upgrades. Energy consultants, auditors, and contractors should track what MERP-funded work is planned and where outside support will be needed once contracts and scopes are defined.
MERP likely refers to a state or regional Municipal Energy Resilience or similar program administered through TRORC.
