From the meeting
The board recognized the county's five-year waiver of paramedic training program approval and monitoring fees. The waiver totaled up to $229,320 and supported the San Joaquin County Emergency Medical Services Agency (SJCEMSA) and the district's first local, accredited paramedic training program in over a decade. The immediate procurement is decided, but the waiver shows sustained workforce-development funding and a continuing partnership around EMS training.
