From the meeting
The board is planning a pilot project to test pipe bursting as a trenchless water main replacement method. The final RFP was not yet complete, but it was going to be sent to the one vendor specializing in pipe bursting, and a separate traditional trenching RFP was expected to go to Lyman. This is an active pre-bid shaping effort for a future main replacement project.
