From the meeting
27-0 to adopt Cengage Math and You instructional materials for grades 6-8. The item shows the district moving to a specific curriculum choice, which is a real buying signal even though the packet does not state the vote outcome. A curriculum vendor or implementation partner would watch for rollout, training, and ancillary materials tied to the adoption.

Questions about this project
What is a pre-RFP?
A pre-RFP is an early indicator that a government agency is planning a purchase — a project discussed in a board meeting, a budget line item, a new hire, or a grant award — captured before a formal RFP or bid is published. Acting on pre-RFPs gives SLED and B2G vendors months of lead time to build relationships and shape requirements.
When will Pioneer Union issue an RFP for this project?
Pre-RFPs typically surface 6–18 months before a formal solicitation is published. Civic IQ tracks Pioneer Union's meeting records, agendas, and budgets continuously and updates this pre-RFP as the project moves through the buying cycle toward an RFP.
How can vendors engage with Pioneer Union before the RFP is published?
Vendors who reach out during the planning window can help shape requirements and build relationships with the decision-makers running the project. A free Civic IQ account unlocks this pre-RFP's source document, forecasted RFP timing, and verified Pioneer Union decision-maker contacts.
