From the meeting
The board heard that construction documents for the new Health Sciences and Public Safety Center had been submitted to the State Construction Office for a 60-day review. The College and Hickory Construction were continuing to develop the guaranteed maximum price (GMP), and nearby parking, stacking, and contractor staging were being evaluated as an alternative. This is a live construction-management signal with follow-on work still being shaped.
