From the meeting
The board considered the 2026-27 district mentoring plan, which calls for support for novice teachers and experienced teachers new to the district. The plan names needs such as class coverage, mentor training, PLC support, and stipends for formal mentors, with funding from district funds, outside grants, NJDOE reimbursements, Title IIA, and IDEA. The board review was dated August 24, 2026, so the plan is an active program-design signal tied to training and staffing support.
